DC SCORES
In June 2022, Ashley was accepted as the newest member of the board at DC Scores. For the last three years, Ashley has worked side by side with DC Scores impacting the youth of the DC community. Ashley shared this about joining the board: "I'm super excited and grateful to be the newest board member of DC Scores! I am so passionate about the DC Scores mission and the impact they have on the DC community and younger generations. Can't wait to contribute and move the vision forward."
DC Scores Vision: "We envision a DC where every child – no matter their family income – experiences the joys of childhood: sports, arts, service, and being part of a team. Where every child – no matter their family circumstances – is empowered to find academic success and grow into an emotionally and physically healthy teen and adult. Where every neighborhood supports and celebrates its children and their accomplishments on and off the playing field."
Pre-Match Charity Tailgate
On June 28th 2022, the USWNT played Colombia at Rio Tinto Stadium. Ashley partnered with Bam Bams BBQ to support Journey of Hope Utah, an organization focused on helping at-risk women and girls in Utah overcome trafficking, homelessness, domestic abuse, addiction, and mental illness. The goal was to provide not only a monetary donation to Journey of Hope, but also to raise awareness of the organization and help women in hard situations know that there is help for them.

Boots From Pros
Ashley started Boots From Pros when she realized how much unused or lightly-used equipment she and other pro players carried around, or eventually threw away. She wanted to not only help young athletes receive quality boots and other gear, but also connect these young athletes to a real professional athlete that lives in their community. Currently, BFP is providing boots to the local D.C. community and hoping to expand to other NWSL markets within the coming months.
Mission/Vision Statement
Boots From Pros enables young athletes to reach their dreams, no matter the size. Whether in sport, school, family, etc., we believe lack of proper equipment should never hinder a child’s confidence in pursuing a challenge or tackling a goal. By providing proper equipment and encouragement from role models, Boots From Pros inspires young athletes to make the most of their opportunities.
